Lost 10 bucks tonight. Sucks. Was doing well for 2hrs. Had top two pairs after the turn. Then pushed all-in on the hand. River comes up, and the other guy hits a straight. FML. 

Mongolian Grill

What a piece of shit place. 

Honestly, wtf?! If you know what I'm talking about, you know how un-authentic that place is. All thats on the menu is stir fry. Literally. ONLY stir fry. Period. The only interesting about that place is that you get to "make" your own food, by which you just choose your own food and have the chiefs heat it up for you. Think Oishi restaurants in BKK, but take away the unlimited bowls and only stir fry materials. 

I thought things would be better if I had a little alcohol to wash it all down with, and ordered Tsingdao. Boy O boy... tsingdao was no better than the meager over-priced stir fry I had to choke down. Hey, what was I expecting from drinking chinese beer? Not much, and yet it still failed to meet my expectation. 

Sigh*... This was a clear example of how to waste $20.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Just got back from watching the new X-Men movie. Have to say, Gambit is pretty bad ass. The movie is pretty good for its first 90mins, but the pace sort of went sloppy in the last 15mins. I guess the early leak of this movie made the producers scratch their heads and are forced to bang out another ending to keep the fans happy. Unfortunately they didnt do a good job at it. If you are a X-Men comic book fan (I'm not for one), you'll defo pick up on the minute details of each character's trait. But if you're like me, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is pretty good for its $10 despite some scenes of poor CG graphics. Make sure to stay till after the credits rolled to get your money's worth.
